What were you like as a teen?

I was mostly exactly the same as I am today, though with fewer sun spots and more of a crush on David Bowie.

What were your favorite books as a kid?

On my shelf: Robin McKinley’s Beauty, Jane Austen’s Emma, Daphne DuMarier’s Rebecca and Anya Seton’s Katherine. (Woman power!)

Under my bed: Flowers in the Attic, Hollywood Wives, and Lace. (Different women, different powers.)

If you had one wish, what would you wish for?

I wish I were more decisive. No, wait.

What musicians have influenced your writing?

Any musician who knows to stop playing when I am writing is a friend of mine.

Matching fab twitter/facebook pals with infinitely more amazing, actual 3D people.

What is your favorite kind of pie?
