Allow yourself to fail.

What one young adult novel do you wish you had when you were a teen? Why?

FEED by MT Anderson.  Because it would have blown my mind and warned me about letting too much technology into my life.

Where’s your favorite place to write?

At my friend’s dining room table in Cape Cod.

At what point in the development of an idea do you know that it will become a full-length novel?

When I get to the third chapter.  There’s very rarely any going back after that.
