Brendan Reichs gives some practical advice for the zombie apocalypse and serves up a slice of humble pie.

Who and what would you bring with you for the zombie apocalypse?
I would bring a long, thick crowbar and a mountain bike. Quiet, low-maintenance forms of defense and transportation seem like they should be high priorities. I would also bring a person just slightly slower than me.
If you could spend a week in any book world, which would it be?
I would like to spend a week in the Seven Kingdoms of Game of Thrones. I’d like to see the The Wall. Although, in all likelihood I wouldn’t last the full week. People don’t seem to live very long there.
What is the best word (in any language) and why?
Simpatico. Because if everyone was likable and easy to get along with, the world would be a much better place.
Who are you most excited to see at YALLFest?
I’m most excited to see Adam Gidwitz, because I like my tales Dark and Grimm.
What is your favorite flavor of pie?
Humble.
