WIN A FREE TRIP TO YALLFEST
Marissa Meyer’s next book Renegades will be released on Nov. 7, just days before the festival. To mark the occasion, her publisher and YALLFest sponsor Macmillan Fierce Reads will be giving away a $1,500 travel voucher for a fan and a friend to travel to Charleston. The winner will also receive tickets to all Fierce Reads-sponsored events and a front row seat at Marissa’s keynote with Cassandra and even be invited to welcome fans to the Renegades at a special celebration.     YALLFest goes uptown! Join a select group of best-selling YA authors — for this special Friday preview event hosted by Macmillan Fierce Reads — featuring book signings, giveaways, crafts, games, and banana pudding from Rodney Scott’s BBQ!

    Authors participating include Marissa Meyer, Kami Garcia, Tomi Adeyemi, Roshani Chokshi, Stephanie Garber, S. Jae-Jones, Caleb Roehrig, and Hilary Reyl.

    Pre-registration is required for this event. Call the library at (843) 722-7550, Monday-Saturday from 10 to 6.

    Your favorite authors will walk the red carpet and take part in an interactive discussion at the library’s teen lounge.

    Hosted by Brendan Reichs with Rhoda Belleza, Jesse Andrews, Jeff Zentner, Ally Condie, Zac Brewer, and Sabaa Tahir.

    The Red Carpet event requires registration, additional seats will be released at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov 3. Call 843-805-6903 to sign up.
